Introducing the Q7. A full featured, heavy duty member of the Accu-cut lineup. The Q7 shares a similar frame design with the J5 folding in on the right side in order to reduce its profile to a mere 6 feet wide. The Q7 is longer so it can fully process fifteen-foot white material. Similar to the J3 and J5 the Q7 can be rolled into a convenient loading area and secured into position with the lifting break. The q7 features an open-ended 5 roller beltless load cradle that centers the material between the between the rollers minimizing any walking or telescoping. However, unlike the J models, it features a roll improver that squares the roll with the cutting track and it provides additional protection against walking/ telescoping. A large diameter nerve knurled measuring wheel constructed to a strict specification provides excellent contact with the material insuring the most accurate measurement possible. The Q7 has an auto run feature that keeps the rollers active allowing the operator to use the machine without holding down the jog button. This feature simplifies the wrapping and tapping of the material.

The Q7 also has single touch variable speed control that automatically adjusts each cradle to the proper speed providing it almost infant number of speed settings. The Q7 features a patented two direction circular cutter which is an upgrade from the J3 and J5. The self-sharpening circular blade rotates as it moves across the cutting track and will not operate unless the hold down bar is in the lowered position. The blade which cuts all types of carpet, vinyl, and even carpet cove base lasts up to thirty thousand cuts. Another important upgrade on the Q7 is its PLC control system. It makes operating the Accu-Cut easier and more efficient. It features a security keypad to prevent unauthorized use. It also has the ability to electronically link-up with most of the major flooring software programs on the market. This feature enables the user to automatically update inventory counts and print barcodes to clearly identify cuts for installers. This eliminates hand written sheets reducing errors, saving time, and allowing for better control of the inventory. The user can also integrate this system with bar coding software to allow for easier inventory analysis. The PLC control system also includes a foot and inch counter that automatically slows down the machine and stops precisely at the desired length. This system allows the operator to store cut lengths that are most commonly cut sizes. Users can keep track of the number of cuts made.

The Q7 features a foot cable control that when pressure is applied allows the operator to start and stop the machine while away from the control panel. The foot cable control is constructed of tightly twisted steel that is coated in plastic to increase life expectancy. The cable is attached directly to the frame of the machine assuring easy access when the cut piece of carpet or vinyl is ready. A material removal mechanism can be activated eliminating the need to use a forklift to remove material from the machine. For installations involving long stretches of hallway an optional side splitter to be added onto the Q7. A roll of carpet can be split cut down to any width saving a significant amount of on-site labor. To prove that the designers at of the Accu-cut machines thought of everything the Q7 comes with an attached foot clipboard holder and utility tray making operation more efficient and enjoyable. USER FRIENDLY CONTROLS

Directional switches control the rollers - the yellow push button activates them. Speed selection dial, easy to use expanded PLC interface and emergency stop button.

Pneumatically powered roll-up arm and load cradle make operating the machine even simpler!

ADJUSTABLE LOAD CRADLE

The Q-7’s open ended, beltless load cradle holds even the largest rolls. The cradle features a roll improver that adjusts the position of the roll.

This ensures you get a square cut and that the material rolls up straight every time!

PLC CONTROL

Includes a foot & inch counter, preset cut storage system, security keypad, cut counter, change blade reminder, multiple product settings and more.

The machine will automatically stop precisely at the programmed length!

CIRCULAR CUTTER

Self sharpening circular blade rotates as it moves down the cutting track. Hold down guard covers blade and keeps material tight while cutting.

Longer blade life reduces blade changes and increases efficiency!

CUT PIECE REMOVAL

All Accu-Cut machines are equipped with a cut piece dumping mechanism to off load your cut length.

Make multiple cuts off of one roll without using your forklift to remove the cut length!
